Our Story

Our founder and chief energy officer, Lisa Lickert, has been helping businesses grow and people thrive for over 25 years. When Lisa reconnected with a past client of her marketing agency, EMI Network, little did she know that a new venture would result. 

After seeing firsthand how her past client, Shirley Luu, Executive Chairman at First Financial Security, founder of Shirley Luu & Associates and bestselling author, helped her clients retain employees, protect their families, and achieve their retirement goals she was hooked.

Like most, Lisa and her husband Sam worked with financial advisors for years and thought they had knowledge of their options to reach their financial goals. After reconnecting with Shirley and reviewing their current financial landscape, they were amazed at what options were out there that after 20 years of working with financial advisors, they were not aware of, both for themselves and for Lisa’s business. 

Lisa became Shirley’s client and after sharing her experience with other business owners, her network, her friends, and her family she realized how powerful the solutions are and felt compelled to join Shirley’s organization of over 4,000 agents across the country. And, Unique Growth, LLC powered by First Financial Security, was launched.
